Prudhoe Community High School

July 2021

Prudhoe Community High School doesn't have a specific photography course, but it does incorporate photography and more specifically, video in a number of its design, technology & media courses.
So when Tim Smith, the lead practitioner for these subjects replied to my email, he said that any help with digital video equipment would be gratefully received.
Not something I would normally have, but, as it happens, I had been gifted a Sony HDR-PJ810 Handycam. This high-end digital video and stills camera has a built-in projector & will greatly help boost the student's ability to create great content.

My third donation came out of the power of social media. I received a message through the Facebook page I created about the project. Their vision is that everyone should have happy, inclusive and fulfilling lives - and that includes photography.
Haydon Bridge High School
The second of my donations was to the Haydon Bridge High School in Haydon Bridge, Northumberland. Their needs were a little different to my first donation at the Queen Elizabeth High in Hexham, but I knew I could help.
